After nine years of research and writing, I have completed this account about the extraordinary lives of Judy and Charlie Litekey, whose courage, sacrifice and devotion to peace and justice inspired so many.

Their commitment to peace and human rights came at great personal cost, including imprisonment and long separations, yet they never wavered.

This is not just their story. It is a testament to love, perseverance, and moral courage – lessons that are urgently needed in today’s world of division, fear, and greed.
